Background on the piece

This is a strong piece of cotton: tones of dark brown, rusted copper colors and greys.  The fabric has a creamy undertone with an interesting botanical print combination.  Leaves was gathered in autumn, dried for a month or two and printed in winter.

Features in print:  Quercus palustris, Quercus robur and local Overberg fynbos species
